Terms of Service

Last updated: February 19, 2026

Welcome to Bleatly. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use Bleatly.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bleatly. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the service. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover that a user is under 13, we will terminate their account and delete their data.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Don't share your password with anyone. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. One account per person — creating multiple accounts to evade bans or manipulate features is not allowed.

3. User Content

You own the content you post on Bleatly (messages, images, etc.). By posting content, you grant Bleatly a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and transmit that content as needed to operate the service. You can delete your content at any time, and you can delete your entire account (which anonymizes your data).

You are solely responsible for the content you post. Do not post anything that violates our Acceptable Use Policy.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits illegal content, harassment, spam, CSAM, and other harmful behavior. Bleatly reserves the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

5. Community Admins

Community admins are responsible for moderating their communities. Bleatly provides tools (kick, ban, role management, audit logs) but is not responsible for how individual communities are managed. Admins must still comply with these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Copyright & DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on Bleatly infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to support@bleatly.com with:

  • A description of the copyrighted work
  • The location (URL or description) of the infringing material
  • Your contact information
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

We will review and respond to valid DMCA notices promptly. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.

7. Paid Plans

Some features may require a paid subscription in the future. If paid plans are introduced, payments will be processed by Stripe. Bleatly will not store your credit card information. Subscriptions will renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime by contacting support@bleatly.com. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep Bleatly available, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

Bleatly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or $100, whichever is greater)
  • We are not responsible for content posted by other users

10. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with us, please contact support@bleatly.com first so we can try to resolve it informally. If we can't resolve it within 30 days, any disputes will be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court. You agree to waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

11. Termination

You can stop using Bleatly at any time by deleting your account (available in your account settings). We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Provisions that should survive termination (limitation of liability, dispute resolution) will continue to apply.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice by email (if you've provided one) or by posting a notice on the site. Your continued use of Bleatly after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
